My truth lacks honesty,
and lie lacks deceit.
My smile lacks a purpose
as nothing brings me repose.
Despair seems beautiful
as my joy comes in pain.
And everything seems bleak to me
while my hope laments in vain.
My curse lacks an intention
and my care lacks the warmth.
I tread along the boulevard
in search of some solace...
Agony, pain and hurt,
I cuddle them all..
and amidst this weary darkness,
I struggle to stand tall.
Deep within my gentle heart,
cries with content;
Oh, troubled times!
You have really changed my face!

Hey,
the poetic piece is really nice. But the meaning is very sad!!
Now that you have described what you feel, it will be proper to shun the pessimistic view and assume a more positive one!!
The life is very much like a treasure hunt. You have to keep looking for joy in even the most ominous circumstances.....many a times it is hidden in the guise of Challenges, Failures and Sorrows.
awesome work of art! but as P says it is very dark...not the usual Priya...kay zala?
@Prasad: thanks for the advice. Life is indeed like that, a treasure hunt..
that's why the best gift that we can ever get!
@hardik: i was little frustrated in the last few months, just thought that a person thoroughly pissed with his/her life might feel like what i have said...i am fine re..
hope that answers your question!
That was totally effusing with emotion....
I am just short of words....
But I know this...
God created everything in twain...
Life-Death
Love-Hate
Sorrow-Happiness
I keep saying this...Have Faith!
Resilience in the face of Defeat,
Calmness when surrounded by Grief,
While your hope hangs by a single thread,
Waiting to face the next anguish!
As your heart cries out for a little light,
some sunshine to part the black clouds,
take solace in the fact,
that these times shall pass,
coz we pray that you win.
The other side of the Mountain,
The greener side of the Hill,
A Bright World is there for us to share,
We'll make it, I know YOU will!
@Ameya: what a wonderful thing to say!!
thanks a lot...
